👒 Vintage Pieces Ladies Hankies Handkerchiefs: Elegant and Nostalgic Accessories Review

I ordered these because my granddaughter was always grabbing mine to pretend to blow her nose. I loved the tradition of handkerchiefs, whether as chivalrous men's fashion or as a cute alternative to the napkins in grandma's purse. She loves her "punks" and is always ready to offer a great option for tears or nose drops.

They look like those lovely old fashioned handkerchiefs that ladies always carried with them and come in many designs and colours, all with surprisingly pretty colors on the design. When you wash them, they shrink and wrinkle a little. So if you want them to look new you need to iron them. I use mine mostly at home so I don't worry about ironing them and after a few washes they are nice and soft.

They are too small and crumple up into tiny balls when washed and dried. I expect them to wrinkle like clothes, but they wrinkle SO MUCH that the ONLY WAY to fold them is to iron them. And they don't even iron very well. They are also scratchy, uncomfortable and lack absorbency. I can't think of any use for them other than props for school plays pretending to be a real handkerchief. I hate them. I guess for the price I shouldn't complain but some of the tissues had ragged edges. I think the seller should make it clear to the buyer that it is a matter of seconds and everything may not be optimal.

I thought the price was ok but if you can't use them. They are so rough and won't take a tear! I have washed them several times trying to make them softer. I even pinned them. Then I rubbed them with mud and tried to wash them again! nothing works. Next I'll try rinsing them with baking soda (I found this tip on Google). Pooh!

These are beautiful but not very soft yet. I'll keep washing them and hope they soften on my poor nose. I think they are about what I expected for the price.
