I crochet a lot and use these blunt needles with a big eye. Most of the ones I've bought are standard quality (with torn edges in the eye holes). I was thrilled when I opened my package and found a variety of sizes of smooth, well-defined, durable needles with open holes that I could actually use. I will happily buy them again :)

Love this set! Before I bought this little set I only used cheap plastic yarn needles, but now I'm all for metal needles! Good range of sizes although I've used them all and am very happy that they come in their own little storage tube. Perfect to take with you on your project trip!

Ideal for storing and using for my projects. There are five longer and shorter ones with large enough eyelets for a 6 or 7 gauge yarn. The shorter five have fewer blunt ends than the longer ones, which helps with weaving loose ends but doesn't break the yarn. The five smallest needles are intended for embroidery, but only 3 of them are sharp enough to pierce fabric for a long time. 2 of them are slightly blunt which would help to weave loose ends for fine crochet like amigurumi or size 3 yarn…
