Envelope style is the best way! For some reason my husband and I pull the pillow out of its cover most nights and this style keeps them where they are supposed to! Our standard/queen size pillows fit perfectly. The texture is a bit rough but I'm used to flannel or lots of yarn so maybe I'm just sensitive. They seem to get a little softer with each wash so I'm looking forward to that. Would love to buy again!

color was accurate. The softness is good. My rating is based on the fact that I bought it because of the color AND the envelope closure at the end so the cover stays on our pillow and hides the end of it. The envelope is unfortunately too small (probably 3 inches), while most pillows are 4-5 inches high when laid flat. Since I only paid $8 and the color works I should try making the envelopes tighter somehow.

I was amazed at how quickly they arrived after I ordered them. They are also advertised. They are soft and beautiful. I probably wouldn't have bought them if I had felt them beforehand. There's something synthetic about them, like parachute material, but only in a subtle way. They are soft and wash well. I haven't slept on them yet, so I don't know if they are good at preventing body heat build-up or acne. But let's keep our fingers crossed.

Reason to buy: I needed 2 black pillowcases for the pillow I sit on in my car on long trips. I wanted it to match the black car seat. It suits my needs well. Price The price is decent, although they are really more in the "second goods" quality range. Cons: Not sure I would want them to sleep on bare skin. They are very thin and coarser than I would like. You can see through them, but there are two of them. Finally, the seams are uneven in places, albeit quite severe.

pillowcase is excellent. The material is very soft and very light. The reason I gave this 3 stars (I would have given it 3.5) is because the pillowcase design is a bit odd. It has extra inner flaps that get caught on my pillow when I try to remove the cover for washing. That wouldn't be a problem, except that I often wash my pillowcase once it's snagged and the corner of the pillowcase is a bit torn. The material is very light and in my opinion a bit more prone to tearing.
