The switch is stuck and doesn't work. after a lot of fiddling I released it and it "seems" to work now. Don't bother sending it back. Bad quality control.

I love the switch concept. I have two of these cables and from time to time it works on its own. However; They are easy to repair, just cut the cord and plug it back into the connector. Easy enough.

I've used Planet Wave Circuit Breaker forks professionally for almost a decade and I think they're excellent. But prior to this design, they were always a click-click-off switch, perfect for tuning on stage as well as changing instruments. The old circuit breaker and this new one are very different. The button on the plug of this new circuit breaker temporarily mutes the sound. The old circuit breaker is an emergency switch. Nowhere is the difference mentioned. So when you order this replacement, you will receive something different than expected. You may like it or you may not like it. I have had this cable from Planet Waves for over 5 years. I hate tuning without it because the tool change is silent. No need to turn off the amps or mute the pedals, just click, twitch, swap, spin, play! Unfortunately I destroyed this ending and it was impossible to save it.
