Creative fun for toddlers

Very cute puzzle/game that was too easy for my 4 year old to give it to but my 2 year old loves it. She can do it with little effort, so it's perfect for her. It is well made and the details are beautiful to look at. They also get creative with play kitchens and the like so overall it was a good buy and it works for our family.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • No color required

but we still enjoy playing with it

My son doesn't quite understand the balancing element of this toy but we still enjoy playing with it. I think we'll get back to him when he's a bit older and really enjoying himself! Now my husband and I enjoy playing! (My son is now 2 1/2.) The colors are very pretty and I love the heavy woods. And the packaging was so minimal, love love love it!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Nothing

Fun problem solving for a 4.5 year old

stimulating his brain. This balancing cactus was a hit with him. My 2 year old doesn't get the concept, she just likes knocking it down or picking up all the pieces! My only criticism is that a bag to store all the parts would have been useful as the box now looks quite worn. and I don't like picking up all the pieces scattered around the house!

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

My son can't stop playing with it!

I bought this as a 'just like that' gift for my 3 year old son. He loves her very much and plays with her for hours. Note: This toy is NOT recommended for children aged 0-3 years. However, my son has an older sister and is a bit developed for his age. In addition, my son is only allowed to play with this toy under the supervision of me or my wife. Please note this is a balance/stability training toy. So yes, this toy is stable when built like a cactus. Overall, this is a great educational toy…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Long term family investment.

Great toy! I bought it for my 20 month old daughter. She likes to collect parts and mostly keeps the base in hand so she doesn't tip over easily because she isn't interested in balancing at that point. This sustains their attention for an average of 30 minutes. I see this toy growing with her over the next few years as she learns to challenge herself by balancing pieces and then maybe even play with family members. I think this will be a toy that we will keep as treasures, maybe even for…

Pros
  • Beautiful design
Cons
  • I don't remember

We love the balancing cactus!

My daughter is 18 months old and I was concerned it might be too much for her but she is really good at it. The holes in the base and small parts of the cactus are not too bulky or small. She quickly figured out how to fold them after watching me do it. She burst into tears when they fell and seems to enjoy playing with him. The details are small, so this toy is only played under supervision. Also, my daughter can't put everything in her mouth. The first thing she did with one of the parts of…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great quality and popular with people of all ages.

My son is 2 and loves this toy although he is still too young to make it himself. We will benefit a lot from this toy in the years to come. At this age I hold the base or quickly plug in the offset piece while he inserts the pieces. Sometimes I hold the base so he doesn't knock it off as he introduces his piece, then let go so he can see he's falling. This is a quality toy from a responsible company. I look forward to keeping it for my grandchildren. It's not very big, the only thing that could

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I'm nervous

Balancing cactus - love it!

I bought this toy for my 2 year old daughters because I thought it wouldn't open for a while (recommended for ages 3+). When I received it I had to open it up and play with it myself. The girls were immediately attracted to it and from the first time they were built with it. It took them some practice to figure out how to slide the pieces all the way in and I had to hold the base for them, but before long they were creating their own little "cacti". Since then (we've had him for about a month)…

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some problems
