I ordered this cable with my Plantronics HW251N wired headset. This allows you to connect your headset to the Cisco IP Phone headset jack on the bottom of the phone. Otherwise, you'll end up with a Plantronics headset that you can't connect to your phone.

Bought as a replacement cable originally recommended with my headset as it wasn't working. Bought Friday afternoon and received Monday morning. Completely plug and play. Not configured. Just plug in and get started. Long enough if you need to move around a bit. I wish this was originally shown with the headset as an option, but the quick shipping more than makes up for the slight inconvenience of backordering.

Considering it was a lot cheaper than most retailers are selling this cable I thought it might be a general compatible and inaccurate list. However, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a genuine Plantronics cable, just in a standard OEM plastic bag, not retail packaging. The Plantronics name is on the breakaway connector and I compared it to the other one I had with my Plantronics headset and it definitely looks the same. That works great.

Due to the fact that the photo did not show a clear view of the connectors, I could hardly believe the description at first, but this is exactly the product I need and I am delighted ! I don't like giving back. It's more work. The price is great! Not much to say about the cable other than it works and appears to be solidly built so I think it will continue to work. However, the quick connect feature was new to me. Disconnecting is pretty easy, and I've occasionally switched to another device* on the fly, although it's pretty hard to accidentally disconnect.
