No more tying packages to a jar!

These are the perfect size for my urban curbside bins and they work great! My trash liner is no longer thrown in the trash when I add a trash liner. The bag stays in place even when a truck pulls up to empty the bin. I see a rubber band last a very long time before needing to be replaced. Very important!

Garbage can rubber bands

I got a large garbage can - from a garbage company. I use liners (to minimize cleaning issues) and HOPE these rubber bands will work, but they don't fit our style of bin. Why a 5 star rating anyway? Because they're still great rubber bands! I should have done better by looking at the trash can design I have. Due to the hinged lid, there isn't enough "lip" for you to catch a rubber band for. Currently. My liner is so big that I could move the rubber band under the lid hinge. but somehow too…

Pros
  • Household items
Cons
  • Crumpled

After 2 weeks at -7 to 20 degrees, add some snow and some trash in the bag and you'll be fine. I figured if they were going to die a quick death, they would already have. I suspect it might be more difficult in the summer. At the rate we go I think we can go 5 times a year or two (each of my neighbors took one ;>) and technically you don't NEED to have them with the liners. although they are a great help! Highly recommended! A suggestion. If you find that the loops on your lid are at the top

Pros
  • Paper and plastic
Cons
  • Only available in black
