Excellent customer support

The first one I stopped working for after a few months. The seller sent a replacement quickly and the replacement works great.

Problem with switch in vacuum cleaner parts and accessories

Too bad you can't just replace the 3 position switch instead of buying the whole unit. Had to buy a $49 unit due to a $5 switch failure. The device worked as advertised, but a design change could have made it a much cheaper fix.

The switch works for about 18 months

I found that these switches work for about 18 months, after that half of the switch will fail. The failure mode is always the same: the vacuum cleaner does not work when the switch is switched to the side that drives the electric brush. When set to vacuum only mode, the vacuum will work. The switch is an exact replacement, fits perfectly and works great until it fails as described.

Good replacement for switch

Like everyone else, my vacuum hose switch stopped working. I bought these as a replacement. It was delivered today, installed and is in use today. It was easy to install and worked well (today is the only day I've used it). I can't comment on durability as it was only used once. I bought another one today to have as a backup in case it doesn't last long. These switches tend to stop working at the worst possible moment. Anyway, it's working fine for now.
