PLAYMOBIL® 9315 Barn With Silo Review

I put it together this afternoon. It took less than an hour. As usual, I was sure that parts were missing. As usual there was none. It took a second to sort through some of the illustrations, but patience overcame the confusion. Very solid construction, lots of moving parts and fun figures to move around the stable. I highly recommend this playset.

Playmobils are great toys. This barn seemed a bit smaller than the photos online but that was just my imagination. I love the full 360 degree usage as you can place animals inside, outside and on top. It has small pegs to attach hens/roosters to the roof. It also has a working silo. We used rice and oats and had a little laugh about it. Since then we have bought other animals to complete the farm.

I liked that it was big. This is the perfect size for my nephew when he plays farm. He likes that all doors open and close. Animals are also a decent size. I think the little chicks that come with it are a bit small, but that's my only problem. He loves all the little extras like the feed bag and rake. It wasn't the fastest connection, but the pieces mesh well. I wish there were more crash barriers in the kit.

Fast delivery and Playmobil does not fail as always. Pointed ducklings add a nice texture to the lego minefield to traverse the playroom. Double as a security system. I've built this many times since my 4 year old has yet to master emotional regulation and it has withstood some pretty good hurricanes. For the family that wishes they could only raise local farmers, this set is sure to bring back the good old days when we beat ourselves up. Bravo. Great birthday present.

Playmobil is a LEGO-like construction toy, but in the end you get a ready-made playset. With that, it only took me 30 minutes to assemble this shed. My four year old twins love Playmobil. That's hours of imaginative play. The barn is fun on its own, but what really makes it special are the additions. I also bought a big tractor, some extra animals and an orchard. I'm sorry this set is such a bummer after we've enjoyed so many Playmobile products. As mentioned in other reviews the shed can easily fall apart after some effort in assembling. The worst is the silo. The black fittings attached to the silo do not align with the rungs of the ladder, which means that the ladder cannot be attached to the silo as intended. Reading other reviews this seems to be a common mistake. We tried to contact the company. They said we would receive the replacement parts…
