I waited 2 weeks after it was supposed to be delivered to finally plug it in to play. I had 5 minutes of screen time and it went dark and turned red. Can not be switched on. Ready to play is a joke. Don't buy from them unless you want to put up with poor customer service and a product that doesn't even work.

Delivery took 2 weeks. I ordered it for Christmas. I would look for that, but when I got the console it didn't even load the disc. $275 for a completely useless broken console. The seller obviously doesn't check if it really works. I sent a message asking the seller to pay for the repair or take the device back. I'll see if he/she can handle it at all.

Be very, very careful. Vendors here are aware that they have used consoles for sale that are nothing more than flashy paperweights. Mine was DOA and apparently opened up a few times for "repairs". The brackets were completely chewed up from dismantling over the years. Luckily the seller I bought from gave me a refund. I will not buy another PS3 as it is a sight to behold.

I am very happy that I have a game console. It works great and I love that I can play PS2 games with this model. The only problem I had was the remote control that came with this model. I would give 5 stars if the remote stopped dying continuously while playing. If you're looking to buy this only for PlayStation, you're in. I think the remote quality is probably a gamble and I just got bad quality by accident.

Excellent thing, caught fire like new! The packaging left a lot to be desired (hence my 4 star rating), but the price was right and overall I'm satisfied. In my opinion it's better to get it here than online auctions or classifieds as you never know what you're going to get. In my experience you can buy something like this with more confidence here at Revain and Revain Warehouse Deals.

I finally have the PS3 and when I tried to upgrade that I was supposed to do it gave an error every time I tried to upgrade after 50% completion . . I tried everything I was told in the post and every time I got the same error. I've even tried taking the hard drive out and putting it back in and also swapping the hard drives out with my other PS3 which doesn't work and I'm still having the same problem. edit: i have tried to turn on the ps3 for the first time since i wrote this review and the ps3 has not even turned on, i am very upset to know that the seller didn't even bother to turn on the PS3 and make sure it was working before sending it to me. The HDMI cable that came with the PS3 had a lot of debris on both ends and the PS3 HDMI port sinks into the console. Soon I'll have to use the AV input to play it! For this reason I will now buy another PS3 from another seller, the least the seller
