Functionally it's an extra heater, an instant source of heat, but I actually bought it because it looks great in the little den I put it in. I knew because I have a small one in my bedroom and it's really functional but most of all beautiful.

Powerful little heater that quickly heats up the media room and creates a romantic atmosphere. The case is plastic and lightweight, making it easy to move around. You can hear the fan motor running when the heater thermostat kicks in and there's a faint hum when just the flame is on, but you tend to turn it off as background noise when the TV or music is playing.

I have several heaters - all ugly. I bought this heater for my living room; I wanted something attractive. Strong, metal yet lightweight, this heater has an attractive faux fire that looks surprisingly real. And it perfectly warms up the room! It also adds to the atmosphere. I love this heater and wish I had bought it a few years ago!

Love this heater! I use it in my office to supplement my warmth in winter. Three-sided glass makes the room even more atmospheric. I bought both a scratch and a dent in "very good condition" through Amazon for $130. Original packaging etc. I can't find any scratches or dents on it! Definitely worth $130. But I wouldn't buy it for the full price of 199€.

I chose this model as a second choice precisely because it was on Prime. It took a whole month to arrive and got lost on the way. It took so long that I can't register for the warranty (you must register within 10 days of purchase). I hope he doesn't die too soon! It's very cute and works well to warm up my tiny living room. The plate does not heat up, you can put something on it without any problems.

$10 heater attached to a $150 box. Uses 2 40 watt bulbs for flame simulation only, no remote control, inaccurate thermostat, only one setting, 1 pointless switch. The flame flicker motor is quite loud, the heat output is decent. On the plus side, apart from the cheap element/fan, it has great aesthetics and great build quality. My wall mounted glass radiator provides extra heat in the same room at 2/3 power.
