I already know it won't last long

To slide the part of the USB stick that plugs into the USB port out of the case, you have to use great force to press. Then it makes a loud click and pops out. I have no doubt that the case will eventually break after multiple uses. As far as I know, the drive's electronics work fine, but I've never had a flash drive that didn't work very well. But the case engineering is very crappy.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • For pensioners

Make sure you reformat them immediately.

Works as advertised but not straight away. On Windows 10, I couldn't download more than about eight gigabytes on it without reformatting. I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars, but since the issue was very easy to fix once I figured it out, I have to be relatively kind as the price is excellent for storage and speed. Unlike others, my read and write speeds were as advertised *or better*.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Don't worry about disk space

Tried everything but can't connect to my laptop. I even tried the computers of everyone else in my family. I wish there was a way to contact them and say I opened it and tried to use it, but it doesn't work at all. Tried to return but threw away the packaging thinking it would fit.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Factor set

PNY - the best discs!

I've been a PNY fan for a long time! These wheels won't let you down! I use some of them for storing movies that I download instead of DVDs and some for music when I'm DJing. They last a lot and have fast download speeds, and music or movie playback is perfect with no hiccups! Don't choose another brand or you might have problems and always increase your storage capacity! I have over 15 of these and always check when they are on sale at the best price!

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Quality

Big and cheap, but slower than expected.

Just received a 128GB PNY Turbo Attache 4. Works, but slower than expected. The packaging says "up to 10x faster" based on a USB 2.0 write speed of 3MB/s, which is 30MB/s. Unfortunately, it barely hits 20MB/s on sequential writes and is very slow on random writes. It's about 2x to 20x slower than my Samsung Bar Plus 32GB drive. See picture for comparison. The plastic slider isn't spring-loaded like some, but feels pretty solid and snaps well both open and closed.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Buy it for the price not the speed

I bought it on Black Friday for a good price. The speed is not impressive. When I first used it I thought I plugged it into my USB 2.0 port because it runs at USB 2.0 speeds. When transferring large files, it works on USB 3.0 for the first 3-4 seconds and then switches to USB 2.0. It behaves like a USB 2.0 stick with a small buffer inside that runs at 3.0 speed and fills up quickly. If you're only transferring tiny files you might be impressed with the speed, otherwise buy this for the price…

Slower than the old Turbo Attache 3.

I've probably bought a dozen Turbo Attache 3's over the last few years, they cost a dime and had decent read speeds compared to other budget USB 3.0 flash devices moves. They weren't the best drives, but they were cheap enough that you didn't care if someone borrowed one and never returned it, and I've never had a single rejection. The new Turbo Attache 4 doesn't appear to be an improvement at all. They're physically about the same size (maybe a little thinner), just as cheap, but appear to be…

My 2.0 drives are faster!

I read the reviews and still took a chance? First, let me say that not all files are created equal. A zipped file will read and write faster than a file with many things. BS When evaluating these discs, use file types that are readable and fastest. So if you expect all files to read and write something they "hate" to corrupt you, this will never happen. That being said, I still rolled the SNAKE EYE dice! I've had numerous flash drives and let me just say that after the initial cache I've never…

Pros
  • Storage
Cons
  • Not sure

Bought two, both give the same results when used with two different PCs. Both drives write at 60MB per second for about five seconds before dropping to 2.5MB per second. This is consistent and repeatable on both drives. Writing from a 3GB per second SSD to a flash drive didn't change anything. I don't see the point of buying a USB 3.0 drive if it's completely unable to sustain 3.0 speeds for more than five seconds before thermal throttling kicks in or the cache is exhausted, causing the speed…
