This is our second purchase. I sometimes ship chocolate across the country and this keeps the contents cool enough to prevent melting. And then they are reusable! Pretty cool. Our main uses for it are lunches and trips to the parks. Drop them and don't worry about the ice melting. I plan to use these products to ship products from my skincare line. When I first received them there was no barrier between the Ice Brix and the top of the box. They were simply thrown into a box and taped shut. As a result, I cut them into three parts and opened the box. Poor packaging in my opinion.
