Since COVID has closed most nail salons I decided to start making gel polish at home. The first time I tried removing gel polish I used acetone and foil. I ended up ruining our kitchen table with acetone dripping everywhere. I ordered them hoping to make the process easier. It happened! No more cutting foil and trying to hold the foil on your fingers.

These baseball caps are great. They hold the aluminum foil well and firmly and cut the soaking time in half. Then they come off easily. But the best part is the cuticle pusher that came with the kit. It's the best I've ever had. You have to be careful with this because it's sharp, but it works like nothing else on my tough cuticles. And the other end gets clean under the nails.

only used it once to remove gel polish from my nails. They were VERY tight with a cotton swab partially soaked in acetone. Maybe I'll have to try round cotton pads instead. I could barely stand them on my fingers for 10 minutes. However, I tried a different gel removal method and these finger clips were much better at absorbing the gel. So I will keep using it.

Haven't used them yet but have tried them with dry cotton pads and they seem to work well. Anyone who says they're too tight must have really big toes, because they're not tight at all, but they're not loose either. I usually cut a cotton pad in half, then dip it in acetone and wrap the nail in foil, but now I can just dip and trim! Faster and easier!

I thought it was a good idea and it really is. The problem is, once you've applied the nail polish remover to the cotton and attached those clips to one hand, you can't do the same to the other hand until you remove the clips from the first hand. Removing nail polish takes twice as long. If someone else does it for you, everything is fine. I am not very impressed with this item.
