This is my second set of speakers for my sailboat, having replaced in 15 years. The speaker cones have held up very well but the plastic grille has really deteriorated after 5+ years of exposure to the sun.

I've bought many speakers, some quite expensive, and for many years trying to get good sound in my family room. Those $53 spa speakers were by far the best money I've ever spent on speakers. Perhaps the sound quality is because I'm in a cedar and plexiglass arbor with a water floor, and there may be some resonance from the airspace below the speaker.
