For connecting my River 600 to a solar panel. So far, so good. Easy to use and no complaints. It's only been a few days. I will update in a few months.

The cables are amazing. I want them to be 20 feet long but there is an extension for that. Nomadic lifestyle here we are. I plugged them into the solar panel ports and tried to charge. I was only getting 10 watts so I unplugged and removed the panels but they didn't come loose. After you inserted the clips it stopped a few millimeters and no further. I ended up having to cut off the buckle to take it apart.

Much better quality than my River 600 PSU. The quality of the cable jacket is soft and flexible, the 12 gauge cable carries more current than the 14 gauge cable which it replaces, and it's ten feet long compared to the three-foot connector that came with my River 600. The connections are the same. so no extra work.

This xt 60 - mc4 connector is great. I like a hard outer coating as long as the cable stays very flexible. the fact that it's easy to connect and disconnect other mc4 connections that I use it for. As for the xt60 part, I'm very impressed. The connection is strong and of course the strong xt60 connection. Because of the ease of use and overall solid construction of this cable, I highly recommend it for solar applications.
