Two stars because the hair can be beautiful after adding products, but it still gets very dry after a while. I mean VERY dry. But I've found that using a product like Aunt Jackie's Shrink-Free Lengthening Curling Gel lengthens and maintains curl patterns for hours or a day. Also, make sure you stock up on Draino or Liquid Plumber because just a second of finger brushing will leave you with a bunch of hair in your hand. I really wanted to like this product. However, when I took it out of the packaging, there was an unpleasant smell. After washing, the smell went away and everything was fine.
