This was perfect for my The Electric 2 Sears. Note that the manufacturer's compatibility list does not include trailing zeros for Sears part numbers due to the decimal point that Sears has always used. I went with an all black tape partly for durability, but also because the correction tape is messy. The ribbon prints fine with one problem. The grommets that the reverse levers are supposed to meet are pretty flimsy. They can slip through the levers and get caught in the belt guide. Not a deal…

I was so fortunate to be able to find a seller who had my typewriter ribbons as I often use my typewriter to print labels and small items. I looked locally for these tapes to no avail, but no one had them in stock. The seller promptly sent me these typewriter ribbons which were easy to install and much appreciated. As the company that provided me with these tapes is a veteran company, it was an honor to help them and to learn that their company is based in the USA.

I bought an antique typewriter for my sons. The coils don't fit, but I expected that. Wind it on spools and they work great.

This tape works great but the powdery white portion of the tape flakes off with white dust every time you press a button. If your typewriter is old-fashioned or expensive and you don't want to load the mechanism with sticky white powder, then this might not be for you. For general use on a machine you don't like, this should work just fine. That won't happen in my Olivetti or Olympia.

Kids found an old typewriter but the tape was out of juice. I installed this and my kids have been typing for the past two weeks. Excellent purchase. Inexpensive and easy to install.

I had to rewind this ribbon from the spools it came on to spools that fit my typewriter but it works great! I am very happy with the new ribbon!
