I had a problem with the radiator on my 2004 Porsche Boxster. I had to constantly refill liquid (water), there must have been a leak somewhere. Instead of going to an expensive dealer appointment, I decided to change the radiator cap in case it was old and not sealing properly. A new cover came, exactly the same as the original. Changed and for a month without loss!

The coolant in the Porsche 2005 911 (997) leaked around the expansion tank. It looks like it's coming out from under the coolant cap. After reading it, I found out that older versions of the header were prone to crashing. So the first thing I did was replace the cover. It's only been a few hours but I think that fixed the issue. The cap fits very well, better than the one on the car (the one on the car ends in 02, this one ends in 04).
