Update: Releases TOXIC CHEMICALS after 3 months of use.

Works effortlessly right out of the box. Odorless and odorless. No clicks. No problems starting or shutting down spontaneously. I haven't received the heating bill yet, so I can't say anything about the electricity costs. UPDATE: 2 months later - release of HORRIBLE CHEMICAL SMELL. Warms a small space, rolls easily

Rolls well on wheels and fairly easily. It doesn't seem to tip over at all but you need 2 hands to turn the knobs because it's so light and when it's on the whole block gets hot so you can't touch it. With maximum heat and high performance, it gently warms the master bedroom. Not as hot as expected or like others we've had but if you close the room doors and blinds it heats the room up nicely. I ordered this wonderful heater after reading all the oil heater reviews! I was appalled to see so many horrible reviews of almost all other oil heaters (from leaks to sockets burning, bad smells, clicking noises, etc.). Small compact heater

UPDATE: Bought a second heater - now my whole apartment is warm and cosy. I set the first one in my bedroom to the lowest level and sleep very comfortably even when the outside temperature is 30 degrees. The second is in my living room. It gives off enough heat to heat the room as well as the kitchen and dining room. Warm air flows through the apartment between the two blocks, and my wall thermostat always reads 70 or better. I chose this one because it is similar to the other one I have except for the brand name. Had another year with no problems but this brand no longer sells a basic model like this. The controls are simple and easy to use, there are no complicated number keys or displays to complicate things.
