The device seems to be well built, but the directions are terrible. After a lot of fiddling, I finally figured out how to get the remote to work and figured out what mode to put the block in for the TV. I honestly didn't expect to like it so much. Bought on a whim, mostly for the intended return value, but I can't. The picture quality is excellent for such a small and cheap device. I used a TV and got more channels than my home TV (at home with the antenna that came with it). I've used the monitor when setting up a home security system for its size and portability, and watched a game on my porch while cooking. Okay, instructions not great. I saw the power button on the remote and in front of the screen, but it won't turn on the device. Only the slide switch on the side is activated. This is not clear from the instructions. I've seen complaints about the kickstand but I think that's ok, also you have a built in kickstand in the back which I really like.
