Nice chair, fits chairs

I was looking for a chair that can sit outside but I needed a sturdy chair as I have a very bad back. This chair is very sturdy and I love it. I had some trouble closing it but got a response from the manufacturer fairly quickly which was nice. Now there are no more problems with opening and closing. So I'm pretty happy. If I buy a second one I hope they are in stock.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Very durable but lacks back support and comfort

Used for the first time on a hike this weekend. They are very strong and heavy, which is appreciated. The problem I noticed and also pointed out to my 11 year old daughter is that the fabric on the back of the chair doesn't go down low enough. Leaning back exposes too much of your back and it doesn't always make for a comfortable seat. I don't think I would order again for over $30. The best options are out there.

Good solid chairs. Good value for money!

Great chairs! I've been looking for replacement chairs for a few months as my more expensive models lose their fabric after years of use. These Portal chairs are even more comfortable than other brand chairs and they even come with a handy tray on the side, which is a great bonus! Very durable and very thin. I am very happy. I'm going to add some more padding under the armrests to make them even softer, but that's the only thing I want to change about these chairs.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Empty

Well done Very comfortable

This is a very good product. The quality is evident. We can say that the manufacturer really thought through the design. The attached "end table" is a great feature. A useful piece of information is that this chair is not intended to be carried over long distances. I didn't check the weight before buying it, but that doesn't matter for my specific purpose. I use mine to meet up with friends after a hike. I'm sure I'll be using it to hang out with neighbors in the backyard later this year too…

Great little chairs!

I bought two of these travel chairs in our caravan. I like them because of their size. They fit nicely and neatly in our aisle. These aren't huge chairs and maybe not as comfortable as say an Adirondack chair or a Gravity chair, but if you just want something durable to sit outside while enjoying a cocktail or meal then this chair is great for the price . A small folding table is also very practical. Again, I love them for their size and the ability to pack them in the luggage compartment of…

Totally satisfactory chair at a very reasonable price

After reading the reviews - most positive but not all - I didn't know what to expect. The low price convinced me to take the risk and I was not disappointed. The chair arrived quickly and in good condition. As others have noted, it was difficult to open and close the first few times, but I took another reviewer's advice and used WD40 a couple of times and gave it a good wipe down afterwards. Another thing that worried me was the stability of the folding table. The worries are gone! The table…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

The best chair of all and at the lowest price.

I bought a similar folding director's chair from Bass Pro (Cabellas) for my wife a few years ago and she loves it. I tried to get it for myself but Bass Pro no longer offers it so a word search led me to this Timber Ridge chair. This chair is not a fake; It has a very strong, coated tubular steel frame that will last a long time. The Bass Pro chair has a slightly larger backrest, but that doesn't change much; It's a comfortable chair and the small table is a real blessing. Best of all, this…

Difficult to fold and not enough room to sit

Folding was very difficult. I've done this several times and each time it was difficult. My other problem is that the chair doesn't have enough seating space. The measurement includes fabric that extends beyond the actual surface of the seat base, so the depth given is misleading. There is also too much vertical clearance under the back of the chair. So you're hanging around in the back and the front of the seat doesn't go far enough under your feet. I really wanted to like this chair as the…
