Works like a charm on kitchen utensils and gadgets

Love this item! Love the fact that you have the option to do all 3 features, 2 features, or just 1. I used it to make an apple pie and my 5 year old great grandson made all the apples in no time. I do not like it!

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Has cons

Peeling requires a lot of adjustment at first

There are more settings than I wanted to use for peeling apples. The blade cuts deep into the apple first, leaving about 3/4 of it. Had to loosen the peeler and try again and repeat until only the peel and not most of the apple was peeled. The suction cup is strong.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Not bad

Not for soft apples

I bought this peeler to peel a bushel of Cortland apples. But it did not work. The apples were too soft for this device. But I haven't tried it on any other apple and will try Granny Smith in the future. This cleaner is well made and designed for heavy use. Maybe I'll try pears next year.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • So far so good

Don't waste your money

I would give zero stars if I could. The apples peeled normally the first few times. Then he peeled off part of the apple and hit the target. It peeled about a third of the apple today even after I reinstalled it and put the blade in place. I eat one or two apples every day. It's not a major apple peeling operation and I've had it for about a month.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Requires socket

Need a bottle of Loctite

This is the second knife of this type I have and the suction cup base is an improvement on the old one's clamping system. Several adjustments were required to get the peeler to fully clean the deformed apples. The biggest problem is that when you use the peeler, the screws come loose. There is one that is held by the handle and two at the base that require frequent tightening throughout the process. It was a bit annoying as everything was covered in apple juice.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Best disappointed in kitchen and dining room

It was sent to me in a bubble envelope. Which was fine. The envelope looked great. No stains, no wrinkles. However, upon opening it was a disappointment. The box the peeler came in is so mangled and damaged. Looks like someone used it for years! Then they sent it back for a refund. something I could get at a garage sale for $2. The vegetable peeler was only half in a plastic bag. and that was it. There is no instruction manual. No bonus blades as stated in the description. That's the whole…

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Nice little gadget

I use this thing once a week to make homemade applesauce! The suction power is excellent, there were no problems. I'm finding it really difficult to figure out how to set it up properly. Misaligning the apple with the prongs can cause the core to come loose. but I am learning. We have a house rabbit, so I dry the bowl in the oven (easy: set oven to 275Β°C. Line baking trays with parchment paper. Spread bowl evenly, put in oven and after about 4 hours or so.. pic attached. ) I also learned to…
