Fits 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid

Fits 2008 Escape Hybrid as a cabin air filter (under the hood near the passenger side windshield). It's quite simple and the right size. I can't comment on efficiency as there are no specific standards for these things. The filter doesn't have an indicator showing which side is up, but due to its odd shape, this isn't a problem in my car.

Great product and price!

As others have said this is great for my 2012 Escape, I was very happy to find it at half the price of other filters! It comes with detailed installation instructions and a few small stickers for you to take notes on. I've read that others were shocked to see their car didn't have a filter yet, but it was still a bit of a surprise to see my car didn't have one either. I will definitely buy one more of these!

Perfect fit for 2008 Ford Escape XLT

Believe it or not, these vehicles DO NOT typically have a cabin air filter. I do not know why. But there is room for one. And when you install it for the first time and change it regularly, you will find that it is essential. It is located on the passenger side under the hood just below the window. Only 3 screws need to be removed to lift the plate and install or replace it. Pretty easy to do.

Good product at a good price, lacks durability but has some nice pluses.

This item surprised me when it came with a sticker to remind you when to install the filter and when to change it. Nice little addition. The instructions that came with it were pretty good too, especially since I wasn't expecting it! If there is one area this product lacks, I would say it is its durability. Based on other cabin filters I've used in the past, I wish there was a stronger cardboard frame around the filter section. However a good product.

Worked on my '08 Ford Escape (which wasn't factory installed)

The product worked as described. I have a 2008 Ford Esccape XLT and was surprised they didn't come with a filter installed. Of course, when I opened it, I was surprised that there was no filter. Of course, even the instructions stated that many Ford Escape models do not come with a filter. After getting over the initial shock, it was easy to install. It comes with tape so you can stick the sides to the body which was nice. All in all it was easy to do and I'm glad I did. I don't understand why…
