Description of 🏺 Potter's Wheel Bat System: 12" Round Outer Bat, Set of Six 7" Square Inner Bats, Adapter with Removable Inserts - Ideal for Potters and Clay Artists

EASY TO USE: Bleecker Station's Bat System is easy to use - simply lift inner bats from the insert tab in the outer bat using your fingers or a flat potter’s tool. The outer bat has holes drilled through and is also easy and to slip onto and off your pottery wheel pins. Fits standard wheel heads with pin holes spaced 10” apart on center. SAVE SPACE: Save precious space in your ceramics studio by drying your pots on small square inserts instead of regular round bats, which can take up a foot of space or more on your shelves. MORE ENJOYABLE: Masonite absorbs water allowing your pot to release itself as it dries, which is safer than cutting it off the wheel head with a wire and risk deforming or dropping it or leaving your fingerprints on the clay. Make throwing more enjoyable by eliminating the wiring off step altogether!. SAFE: Insert tab is wide enough to prevent fingers from getting caught while throwing on the wheel. DURABLE: The inserts are made out of Masonite and the outer bat is made out of a water resistant, durable exterior-grade wood material. This bat system is designed to accommodate swelling from exposure to water, so unlike other bat systems the inserts should still fit into your adapter use after use. MADE IN THE USA.

I want to love him but it's PITA!

Hey, that's a cool idea. And when I got mine I listened to you all and made polyurethane including the edges, pinholes and cut outs to keep everything dry and unwarped and currently take great care in storage. I also like to put them on and take out the pad. As someone else mentioned, you can wedge in some clay or put on an insert if they start shaking, which will happen over time. So what's the problem? Distance between club pins. My bat needles or that thing must have come close to coming…

Good Bat Inserts / Mehhh Bat Holder

I bought this a few weeks ago and here are the pros and cons of the product. Cons: The real bit holder starts to deform. Worst of all, it flexes in such a way that it basically wobbles on the wheel, making it very difficult to do anything (centering, throwing, lifting, etc.). I recommend the manufacturer make it so that both sides can accommodate the insert so if one side is bent you can flip it over and hopefully flatten it out while continuing to use it on the wheel. The racquet itself is…

Great system if you use your brain ;)

I've been using this system for about a year and can now give an honest review. First of all, every system works like this. For a tremendous time saver, this is no exception. But we all know why we bought or are buying this product. So how is he holding up? I see a lot of Warp reviews here and I think it's probably new potters who don't quite understand how Masonic beats work. They absorb water, that's why they work so well! When things are ready to be trimmed, they just fly off the bat because
