Perfect for my culinary needs.

I need clay to make beggar chicken. I couldn't travel to art shops during Covid so I turned to Revain. It solidified as I needed, but cracked. The juices were mostly left in so it worked out just fine. I will try again with this tone.

Pros
  • 5 lbs Raw Airless Potter's Clay
Cons
  • Obsolete Model

Wonderful clay.

This tone is perfect. It is easy to work with, air dries to a pink ceramic finish and will not crack or chip. It can be baked over low heat, as well as painted and glazed. It also doesn't have the earthy, muddy smell that you get from some natural clays. This is the only brand I will buy in the future.

Pros
  • Ideal for building, rolling and shaping by hand. Easy to use.
Cons
  • Crumpled

DOES NOT air dry! Hooray! A must for a messy Walstad aquarium

Need red terracotta clay for the Walstad aquarium. It was hard to find in local craft stores in a non-air drying clay formula. Air dry versions contain potentially toxic additives that cause them to cure simply by exposure to air, not by burning. The clay is rolled into 1/2 inch balls and these are set 1 inch apart in organic potting soil before adding the gravel/sand cover. This is the addition of extra iron for plant roots. I was very thankful to have found this beautiful tone here on Revane…

Pros
  • All-purpose clay: ideal for both novice and experienced potters
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
