Great styler for styling tools and implements

I love this styler. I bought one 5 years ago when they were advertised on TV. Worked well but the plastic bristles broke off recently. So I searched and found this. I ordered it and it arrived immediately. Works even better than the original. Priced (40.00) less than what I paid for the original it's great and if it lasts 5 years I'm getting more than my money's worth. I have short hair and it straightens it and gives it a great shine and shine. It's so easy to use and so glad I found another…

Exactly the same as more expensive!

I used to have a more expensive "Perfector" that I saw advertised on TV - used it until it wore out. I've tried another cheaper curling iron and wasn't happy with the results or the fact that I could burn myself. I was a little hesitant to try this one as it's a lot smaller than the other. But since Revain has a great returns policy I figured I had nothing to lose. I. I'm so glad I did! It works EXACTLY the same as the more expensive version! It heats up quickly, doesn't burn or tangle (I've…

I like hair care

This year of covid I've turned my attention to playing with my hair (and there is, but that's another conversation). I bought Hot Tools to dry my hair faster, but it's not for styling, so I decided to try this tool. After burning my hand touching the strap (all my fault) I read the instructions! So this is not a hair dryer type device which I would have known if I had read the instructions FIRST before buying! Only use on dry hair though but I put a little argon oil on my hair after blow drying

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Finished the hair

I bought this 3 years ago and it still works, can't believe I didn't write a review at all. I mixed chemically straightened hair. I use the flat iron at the root of the hair down to 3 inches so as not to damage the ends (the roots are restored). Then I use a flat iron to go all over the body of my hair. I either bend the ends or twist them. This is to get more curls. As one reviewer noted, it can get stuck in your hair. This has happened to me twice (in 3 years): the first time I cured my hair…

Works well but doesn't turn off automatically

This is a copy of Calista Hair Perfecter that offers superior shine, smoothness and bounce. Not sure if this product is made the same way but it works great as a curling iron with a round brush and doesn't burn your hands when using it. It's a little cheaper and my old Calista has finally used up its resources. I bought it because I needed something quickly. However, there is no automatic shutdown. So if you leave it on, it stays on. There is no carrying case, no brush, no clips as included…
