Garbage. Had to buy another one from Revain.

Garbage. Had to buy another one from Revain. I'm so busy with school that when the second one came and I had time to fix the project, it was already time to return this one. Do not buy

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing

Very very weak best tools and equipment

Literally broken on first use. Full Disclosure I actually even did it in a vise instead of a car and it broke the anvil on the very first flare up. Ironically I used my stock flare kit in reverse as suggested in some YouTube videos and my e36 had brakes again.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Empty

Works best with brake flare tools

Took a little getting used to, I damaged the brake line on the first few flares, but once I felt it the brakes were much easier to work with than the double flare adapters. Tip: Start the flare with a 45 flare before moving on to the bladder adapter, it will be a lot easier.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Great product for limited use.

Not the choice of professionals in my opinion, but great for a tree shade mechanic doing a car or two. Bought to replace the brake lines on a Dodge Durango, after a few failed tries I got used to it and it worked fine. I placed the piece in a vise to hold it and made sure both sides lined up. Also, I lubricated the torch and it really started to work well. A fairly well made tool at a great price.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Some little things

The pen easily breaks inside the line! Garbage!

Pin broke internally while being twisted out of line. I traded it in for another one thinking I was being too hard on her or that I got a bad one. No, it's just junk, the production standards are very low and the pen inside breaks easily. You can do one, but the second or third has a high risk of breaking the bit when unscrewing it. I'm not sure what other brand to buy.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires a socket

I've never seen a screw thread stretch so easily and so much before it breaks. Both pull bolts stretched over 1/4 inch before one broke. I'm not sure what those bolts were, but they were useless. surprisingly held up to the rest of the flashes I had to do, which was about 6. And they're still the same length as when they were put in. ;)

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • It's ok
