Connection keeps dropping

I used it for DAC, mouse and keyboard. The connection keeps dropping. In addition, the webcam is not recognized on this. This hub might be good for occasional external storage, but it's not good for peripherals. In any case, I'll let it charge. The hostel factor is good for keeping the workspace clean.

Works as expected for networking products

Good quality USB hub. Good that you have the opportunity to ask. Easily attaches to any edge of table or anything. There never seems to be enough USB ports. Even if you don't use them all the time, it's handy to keep something plugged in. (I can see how lazy I sound, but it's true). As if you could tighten it with a screwdriver.

Awesome Hub is the best networking product

$20 is a bargain! Well made, easy to set up, does exactly what I wanted! I ordered a 12" adapter cable from the hub to the laptop so there is a minimum of extra cable after installation. I placed it on a glass monitor stand and used clear plastic shims to get the right thickness for mounting the hub. It works great. and I had to order another one for my wife after she saw my install!

Good 4-port active hub for special applications

This 4-port USB 3.0 powered hub was just what I needed to add USB devices (phone, webcam, VOIP phone), which should have been next to my monitor. . It was the perfect look and size to attach to the base of my Dell monitor. Looks good passes power to host

This powered hub looks really nice with polished aluminum and is a great idea to mount. I also like that the power connector is a standard micro-USB rather than a random barrel-shaped connector. I found that it allows current back to the host port when powered, they didn't use a diode to make the current flow unidirectional. It doesn't supply enough current to reverse the Raspberry Pi 4, but it does pass some current, around 200-300mV. Luckily this can be fixed by opening it up and ripping off…
