I have no doubt this starter is great. I couldn't adjust the starter to use the BBC's staggered bolt pattern when cleaning the header pipes.

This starter works great on my 72 Vette with header. There are no more warm starts. Even if you have upgraded your vehicle to HEI, you do not need to connect the white starter cable. I buttoned mine to the side.

Very weak magnet. The starter does not work in 60% of cases. Nightmare! not worth your money. It does not come with offset seals. Only straight seals are included in the kit. Offset pads must be purchased separately.

I replaced everything but the starter motor to fix a SLOW starting engine problem when my 350 was warm or running at operating temperature. Nothing worked. I chose Powermaster and am so glad I did. I no longer have a slow start. This starter doesn't twitch. spins the motor easily. cold or warm or hot. no questions. I highly recommend it. Positioning options are key in my app since I use titles that fit snugly in my block.

This starter definitely fits. This is the best, turns my high compression motor with no problems, didn't need any gaskets, it bolted on and I used all 3 bolts, so smooth almost inaudible, couldn't be happier.

This starter fits my '62 409 Chevy Impala. Starter. This eliminated the tight area of the headers and prevented the overheating issues I had previously had with the starter.
