I liked them so much that I immediately ordered another set.

This is the second set I have bought to replace my Dewalt planer. The first set lasted several months in use. I liked them so much that I ordered another set in November 2017 "just in case". Decided to change knives in April 2018 after noticing some wear and tear. The new set is complete junk. The first 1" x 4" pine board looked worse than it did before it was put through the planer. Several scratches on wood. I removed the knives and saw chips in 2 of them. What happened to the quality I…

Exceptional Performance

I have been using these replacement blades for several years now. I know some users sharpen these blades, but I usually use them until they're dull on both sides and then replace them with new ones. It's really subjective and hard to measure, but I just feel like these blades last a little longer than Dewalt blades. A lot depends on the type and amount of material you are feeding through the planer at one time. At worst they work the same as Dewalt and being $5-10 cheaper than Dewalt they are…

A Bittersweet Experience

This is the second time I have ordered these blades. On my first order I ordered two sets of blades which far exceeded my expectations, in fact they worked better than the Dewalt brand so of course I re-ordered this brand when it came time for new blades but unfortunately they have since the first set did not survive. When I fitted the knives, they cut well at first, but shortly thereafter the planer began to bang as if the knives had become blunt. Now I've planed 1x2 and 1x4 in medium density…

Planer Blades for DeWalt 734

This is an aftermarket replacement for DeWalt 734 Planer Blades and is less expensive than the original equipment. Above all, never touch the edges of these blades; They're damn sharp and can cause significant tissue damage without much encouragement. I have replaced several well used Original Equipment knives with these knives and have been very pleased with the improved performance of the planer. First I carved some old train cherries with a new set of knives and it was a delight. The surface

Not worth the money

I have a DeWalt planer and decided to try these off-brand knives to save a few bucks on maintenance costs. This turned out to be a bug and I'm going back to the OEM brand. No problem and all holes are perfectly matched. === Not so good stuff ===* The very first board I carved, a 5/4 piece of cedar, had a few visible little grooves. Thinking it might be rough burrs or maybe a foreign object stuck to the blades, I disassembled the plane and blew all the blades with compressed air. Repeating the…
