Bent But Works - Power & Hand Tools

The blade was bent in several places. I bent them and put them on the bandsaw. Cuts well but with a little lateral movement from where it was bent. I suspect that the plastic bag used for packaging does not work with the automatic packaging system.

Pros
  • APPLICATIONS: Flexible, hard-edged carbon blade excellent for hard and soft woods, plastics and non-ferrous metals.
Cons
  • . Everything is fine.

Universal blade fits power tool parts and accessories

Recent for cutting 15" birch plywood with curved sides (minimal tearing) for lap tables (pictured) and 50" bend in 1" poplar. Bed headboards for both rough cutting parts for pattern routing as well as cutting Β½" thick birch plywood in addition to other everyday uses like aluminum doorsteps. Bought several and the first one now lasts longer than some of the thicker blades I've tried.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket wrench

Tension is KEY!

This is a great blade for the money. Take the time to properly set up your saw and adjust the blade tension accordingly. This is a thin blade. This means you can't tighten it like thicker ones. set the tension correctly. Adjust the blade with a Dremel or silicon carbide whetstone. Use the guides and thrust bearings properly and this blade will serve you well.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Good blade for the money, very sharp.

This is the sharpest blade I have ever used on my 14" x 82" band saw. These things go through wood like oil. My blade is 1/4" wide so I don't expect it to cut wood. But for cutting very hard sapele this blade works great. (The cutting depth (thickness) was up to 4". Very hard/dense sapele The previous blade I had (fairly new) got stuck in this stuff Excellent value for money I haven't used it long enough to rate its durability.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
