Pads fall off easily

The clips are well made and functional except for 2 plastic pads on the ends. They are only held in place by tiny handles that have equally tiny holes fit, and the pads chip off very easily.Not the best value: Harbor Freight sells similar plastic hangers, which last much longer, for six to the dollar.

They're durable and easy to use

We've got them Bought for our camper. If you park your motorhome in the sun, window blinds usually do not offer sufficient protection from the heat. I like to hang towels on windows and use clothespins. They break easily. These little spring clips do the job perfectly. They open about 2 inches and are perfect. They do not make indentations on the top of window coverings.

As described, multipurpose clips at the right price.

These clips fulfill the job we use them for --- we use them in our garden to keep the sun/bug screen fabric in place. They are easy to work with. They wrap easily around 1/2" PVC pipe. This allows us to attach the screen fabric as needed. Of course we've only used them outdoors for a few months; only time will tell if they can withstand the elements. We are completely satisfied with it and will buy another set.

100% failure? for hand tools

Screw clamps are typical Chinese junk. I would pay good money for some decent little clips. The ratings for them looked good, but I saw 100% failures due to the pivot pads on the ends of the clamps falling off. I only use them to hold the decorative lighting on our van's tarp so it doesn't look like they're overworking. How difficult is it to make a collar that won't break or just fall apart?
