Started from the beginning. Best of Spare Parts

For the money it looked good/reliable, had all the parts needed, was bolted on and ran like clockwork. Can't comment on the durability of the gear as I sold the car but I would buy from these guys again.

Easy replacement, great fit, perfect sound

Installed 3 days ago on my 1998 Honda Civic LX 1.6L manual transmission. Great fit, sounds great when shifting. Seems to be a good unit. I think my factory starter has had about 30,000 starts in 20 years and I hope this one lasts as long.

Amazing item with high quality

Installed for over 3 months and still working fine on my Ex 2000 Honda Civic. Unbeatable price and quality! The local parts store asks about $200, including a $50 core. There is no core here and the part fits my manual transmission perfectly. Definitely the best value for money!

Shit. This appetizer didn't last very long. The car is 17 years old. The first starter worked 17 years. This lasted several months. :

Good. this starter came out on me. I just got home, I had to go somewhere else, but the car wouldn't start. No click, nothing. I pulled it out and took it to the parts store, they checked it for me and indeed it's dead. How can I contact these people for a warranty or refund? I'd be mad at Texican if I couldn't install it myself in 30 minutes.
