This is a well made sofa. The fabric is strong and really holds the dough in place so it rises without spreading. No wonder I couldn't make baguettes without them!

This is a thick and well made couch for bakers. I've never used anything like this before, but it was very easy to use and shape. I bake bread for my family once a week and it helps a lot to shape the baguettes. I recommend this product.

So far I have no complaints about this sofa. I use it to shape baguettes and round craft loaves. It worked well for both and helped keep the dough in shape. If necessary, stains can be easily cleaned with a little soap and warm water and hung to dry. If you shape the dough by hand, this can be of great help.

Flour is good, do not wash. Always ready to bake. This one is made in China but appears to be of good quality. Others may prefer linen made in France.

Finally let those baguettes rise on this bed so they're ready to bake. Shape your loaves and place them on the bed, making folds to keep them in shape. place and prevent their spread. My baguettes aren't perfect, but they easily shape into a nice, thin casserole dish. I am sure they will get better with practice! The couch is also great for covering bread dough as it rises to prevent drafts from blowing it away.

We've never used a baker's couch. This proofing cloth is 100% cotton and measures 35 inches by 26 inches, which is quite a lot, especially if you're baking for two. The fabric is very dense, the edges are well finished. My wife didn't like the faux leather label which sits right in the middle of the fabric and doesn't allow it to be folded exactly in half. The instructions say not to wash, although my wife washed before first use. It survived! Love it!

This is a beautiful linen couch that I will be using to bake French and Italian bread. It has a great feel and the fabric is nice and thick so it will last a long time. Even though it's made in China, it's also a good replacement for what I have, which is pretty worn out. I think it's good value for money and I love the fact that it has a nice pocket to hold it back when not in use which extends its lifespan. Very good value for money.
