I’ve used woven weave fabric before this was not the same as I ordered before. This kind is very thin rips and frays very easy. I recommend using a torch to cut. Also I recommend using tent stakes to hold this Dow for gardening. I used the staples they say to use and they didn’t hold. This is definitely not the lightweight stuff you find at your local Lowe’s or Home Depot. I didn’t even bother trying to cut it, just grabbed my butane torch lighter and "cut” to size that way. Quick, easy and no frayed edges.I’m choosing to lay it over my garden then burn in my holes where I’m staking and planting. Arrived quickly. I did not use it for a weed barrier, but instead put it under the entire bed soil. I installed it to try to keep voles from eating my daylilies. So far so good. Has been down for a couple weeks now and nothing has been eaten.Thanks

We used this for our garden and it was easy to cut with a good pair of scissors and was easy to lay out. It came with a good amount so we were able to cover a large area with the roll. It seems durable so hopefully it will do a good job of preventing the weeds from coming through which only time will tell.

This is the only landscape fabric we use on our urban farm. We use it for all our walkways and it’s lasted years even though it’s been in full AZ sun, walked on everyday, and rolling heavy equipment on it like our BCS tractor. We also use it as "plastic mulch” to transplant in after burning holes in it with a template (pic). We have a horrible nutsedge issue on the property and wouldn’t be able to grow crops without it!

Had multiple inches of rain last night, uncovered areas are absolutely soaked, ground was wet 6 inches down, but under this nearly solid tarp, the ground surface is completely dry. If you want 100% cover, great, but if you put this around bushes and trees they will die.

The first year this worked great however my second year weeds found it's way right through it, dont think I'll buy again for one good year, I'll just straw my garden down heavy

I think this product is sufficient for covering a large area if you don't want to spend much money. But if you have to cut it to fit around trees/shrubs, you will find that it quickly frays. I've worked with other landscape cloth where this is not as much of an issue but it is with this stuff. I would recommend using it if there are no tree/shrubs but use the more expensive stuff if there are.

Would have been a 5 star review if it hadn’t been shipped all over the place first. The landscape fabric is great. Went for a wider roll for the garden. Made an awesome difference this year with weed control and plant growth.

I don't know what this product is good for, but it's definitely not a weed barrier. Within one month of installing this weed barrier and covering it with river stone, I'm seeing weeds grow through the barrier everywhere. By moving away the rocks to get doen to the barrier, the weeds are just growing right through the barrier.

excellent product I planted over a half acre of hemp, 28 rows, using 5 different types of landscape material of which the grass came through 4 out of 5 this was the only one of the five that had the lines that run down the fabric so you can align your plants. and no grass has gone through any of it. next year I will be buying this product again

This is a very heave duty weed barrier I have bought 4 rolls and have used 2 so far, I have around 450 small potted plants on one roll, this is much better than the stuff that I bought from Lowes
