Build yours out of the car, take a picture and compare. I wasted my money. Didn't work on my 2001 BMW x5. Not quite the same and not suitable.

Doesn't match my 2003 325i. It fits the female end of the connector, but the part that connects to my dongle doesn't fit properly. To return. DO NOT buy for e46!

that said it would fit 2006 x5 BUT IT WILL NOT FIT, the connector is not compatible despite being advertised as fitting. Sent back, get pictures of socket wrenches to make sure they fit your car

for my 2000 528i it's the right part after some edging and finesse it snapped in and worked. This is the correct part, but it is not made in Germany, get ready to go.

This product worked! I have a BMW E83 X3 and I had electrical problems. Light 4X4, ABS, brake light, light triad on. The interior lighting was also switched on at will. The buttons on the steering wheel and the horn did not work. EVERYTHING IS CAUSED BY FAILURE IGNITION. The exchange took about 20 minutes! Everything is working well. I spent hours and countless searches to find out that it could be caused by the ignition switch.

Probably fits later e38,e39,X5. First pull the ignition switch, and then check if it is inserted correctly. I didn't do it and had to send it back. I saw reviews, but it was quickly necessary, but of course it didn't fit. Not suitable for E39 1998. The left side is my original one, the right side is new, you can see the top and bottom have different buttons. My original also had a white top, it doesn't matter but they are also sold at Revain.
