Connected and connected quickly. I was a little concerned that it might work with multiple devices based on other reviews, so I immediately plugged in my keyboard and mouse, digital camera, MP3 player, and a USB headphone/mic headset. I was able to use and access all devices with no noticeable connection or response lag. So far I'm very happy with this purchase, it does exactly what I need.

received the hub today what i bought was a new hub what i received looked used the packaging was covered with tape the cable was supposed to be 20 inches long , it's barely made 12 inches, use it now, it seems to work, don't know how long it will last, I think you can't trust what you read.

Cool product although it doesn't charge my iPhone at all and that's why I bought it but I have other uses. I wonder why it doesn't charge my phone.

Works great on my iMac as the ports are on the back. I have no problem with its quality and have used 1 or all 4 at the same time.

I wanted to like it so much I gave it another chance. It's sleek and looks good, but that's what I have. It just plugs in and then disconnects or doesn't even connect to connected ports. I ended up just buying another one and it works great so it's clear the fault was in that device versus my computer. Mine might just be buggy, but when teaching, all ports should work as most of the time I use more than one!

This hub is a really nice accessory for your iMac or Powerbook. The brushed aluminum look fits perfectly with your equipment. Remember to connect it to TWO USB ports on your computer to get the full power of the hub. The photo shows one USB port, but there are actually 2. So two USB ports convert to 7, not 1 to 7. So far, however, it has worked well and has been handy for connecting my camera, iPod, iPhone, etc. to connect.
