I don't normally write reviews but felt compelled to write about this product. I've lost more caps than I care to say and bought many cap holders that were cheaply made and ugly to use. This lid holder is much smaller and therefore has a much smaller footprint. After you put it on, it looks like there is no lid holder at all. I first ordered Fintie [3-piece] Fintie for Apple Pencil Cap Holder / Spring Cover / Lightning Cable Adapter Bracket for iPad Pro Pencil, white packaging, but I didn't like how loose the zipper cover was or so The little loop stuck out. I like them better - they don't have a protruding loop to snag on and they are much narrower. I don't feel like I'm going to lose my Lightning cap. They are great, I was skeptical about how well they would hold, but they are very grippy and very easy to remove. The fit is very snug and there are no sharp edges to bother me when holding the stylus (when I use it to surf the web I end up holding the stylus). As I rolled off the table I thought the silicone ones couldn't get any worse and $6 for 3 of them were barganza plus they are pink. It can loosen and lose grip over time, but I still have 2 backups so I don't mind.

Better than the original IMHO. After another Apple white cap jumped into the Apple black hole (Am I the only one who can't find these things after escaping? My Apple Pencil has a skin and I don't want it covered in silicone. I was thinking of a transparent silicone case, but over time I could imagine how it would turn yellow. However, I needed something that would improve my grip while still being able to charge the apple pencil. Update: After 8 weeks of use, the first cap replacement now easily detaches from the pencil and tends to "knock"; disappointing result. Good observation after 8 weeks of use: they don't dust on the outside. I will still buy it again but I am not as satisfied as I had hoped. (Price drops welcome!)
