Love it! Keeps both vinegar and oil fresh

Great size. The cast is amazing. I even ordered more for gifts after using them for about a year. Pay attention to the small lids when washing. I got this from other reviews so I'm cautious.

  • New to my collection

Very nice design/concept but materials don't last long

Very nice design/concept but materials don't last long. The plastic screw cap of the oil dispenser broke after 3 months. The glass base of the vinegar dispenser was cracked (note the glass around the screw-in edge, then you saw the chips on the bottom of the container). Shame as for the short time we've used them they've been good - doesn't drip and looked nice on the table but definitely not worth the money!

Does not drip, pours slowly.

I've been looking for a truly drip-free oil dispenser for a long time. This one doesn't really drip off the side, perhaps thanks to the drastic slowing of the flow. It takes about 15 to 30 seconds to squeeze out a tablespoon of oil, so keep that in mind. It's best to oil a frying pan or drizzle oil on a salad as a bowl, but of course you can't pour 1/4 cup oil for homemade mayonnaise or the like.

worth your money.

I have to say I was arguing about the cost but the last set I had was cheap and that's exactly what it was. The oil has run out. many drops. So I decided to give it a try. I LIKE IT! No leaks, easy to pour, and I tend to spend less so I'm really saving money in the end. I use EVOO and balsamic vinegar almost exclusively in my salads, and I eat salad almost every day, so I needed something that would work well. VERY SATISFIED with my purchase.

Smart Cruet on Cruets

As everyone else has pointed out, it doesn't drip and it really is a slow pour or drizzle. I use it to drizzle olive oil on pizza so it's perfect for that as you can't spill it. The glass is heavy and the plastic top half feels solid. I actually think it's a really nice thing (more than the picture lets on). The only thing that bothers me is the rubber cover. It just sits there and I'm not sure what it really does, but I don't think there's anything to take a star off for.

  • Easy to use

  • Hard to remember but it was

With modification it's a good product

We had a leak problem so I contacted Prepara directly and they exchanged it. The new one had the same problem and I thought it was because the silver collar was too thick to make a good seal between the cap gasket and the glass bottle. Removing the silver collar resulted in the bottle not leaking! I'm surprised no one has had this problem with this bottle before. We had an old version of Prepara that was working great until I dropped it and smashed it, so I was hoping it would be the same. With
