The best hacker! - Seasoning and Spice Tools

I have bought so many types of grinders but this grinder is by far the best! If it takes me almost an hour to make salsa or pico de gallo, it takes 15 minutes with this chopper. It is also very easy to use and clean. It comes with a small tool that combs out any fruit or veg stuck in the mesh. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Be careful, it will last much longer if you cut thinner slices.

Although much easier to clean than previous models, cleaning the cut edges is still a hassle. However, this thing is life changing for those who know how long it takes to chop onions, tomatoes, celery, peppers and anything else. It makes the perfect pico de gallo and helps me make soups and gumbos much easier.

  • Very good value for money

A sharp knife and practice goes much faster.

We bent the blades on our first machine into small onions (2" diameter) that we had already cut in half. After cleaning, you only save time if you process a lot of onions. I can dice maybe 10 onions and clean my knife quicker than with this one. Cleaning the blades takes forever, even with the little plastic handle they offer for cleaning. I've tried washing them in the dishwasher but the onion just dries out on the blade making cleaning even more difficult.

My husband likes it

I gave him "OK" because it takes too much strength to push him down. I usually get my husband to use this prepworks. Of course, I tried using 1/2 onion. You can really only use 1/4 at a time. I'm faster just slicing onions with a knife. Only when I have 2 or more onions should I take them out and go through the skin (4 large pieces to peel, not a simple knife and chopping board. I also use it to chop apples, boiled potatoes and beets for salads. I prefer to cut the garlic with a knife, so it…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor problems

I have to give one star because I can't write a review without selecting a star. This is a terrible product, we spent $24 to make our life easier slicing onions but it made it even more miserable. When I tried to chop onions with this chopper, the blades bent and the onions didn't chop at all. Most of the onion slice stayed in the slicer. In addition to all these problems, I had to make an effort to push it down. It's messier than cutting with a knife on a cutting board. The garlic chopper is a

The best of "alligators "!

We have and have had several alligator type onion slicers. And it's the best we've ever had. Why? First, the plastic shade is easier to clean than any other. The screen will collect any debris, leaving the pen set completely clean. Once the screen is dry, it is easy to replace. Another great thing is that this tool also has a dedicated section for finely chopping garlic. Our garlic presses are annoying because garlic scraps get stuck in the corners, it's wasteful and also difficult to clean…
