Durable and good quality

When I bought it the reviews about it were mixed so I was skeptical. They were all good quality and I like the metal storage case. The instructions are sufficient, but you can also search for games on the Internet.

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good: Not great for playing with tiles

Nice domino set. My only complaint is about the higher numbers; The dots are different sizes, and some color dots are similar in color to other large dominoes, making them difficult to tell apart. You really have to pay attention and look at the points. I've seen other domino sets that use a lot more different colored dots that are a lot easier to use.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Good but not great

NOT the colored dominoes on the container or promotional photo

These are NOT the colored dominoes on the promotional photo or outside of the container. All colors are dull colors that match so closely you have to keep counting dots to tell them apart. Colors black, grey, dark olive etc. (see my photo). My friend has the colorful one and it makes the game much easier and more enjoyable.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Bad excuse for a set of dominoes!

These knuckles are not as heavy as the "regular" knuckles. They are also thinner. I think they will not sit on their side like "regular" dominoes when used to play Mexican dominoes. The tin can arrived completely crumpled. The shipment could not explain such great damage. One of the colored dots on the domino came out. I glued it back on as it came out almost intact. Don't waste your time and money on this set when the ideal set is available.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • so-so

Colors not as shown on tin

I was recently asked to join a group of ladies from my neighborhood for the Sunday dominoes. One of the ladies is visually impaired and does not see bright colors well. Most other members have red double dozens depicted on the bench. I wanted that bright color and that's the only reason I bought it from Revain. Double 12s are pale gray, not red. I think this is very misleading. I could buy the same at Walmart for a lower price. The manufacturer needs to update the packaging to match the actualโ€ฆ

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • change

We tried to play Mexican Train but it didn't work. We have found that 28 dominoes are MISSING. We have all the dominoes for double 9, but we are missing most of the dominoes that are only for double 12. We are missing all 10s, 11s and some 12s. It's missing a total of 28, which have instead been replaced with additional dominoes from the Double 9 line. So it sucks and it's too late to bring her back. I didn't know any better when I got them. I found a domino pattern in double 12 and laid outโ€ฆ
