3 years 5 months. I couldn't seal it anymore so I replaced it with the same one. I use this thing about twice a month. 3 years and 2 months later it just started leaking a little, turn off the heat, release the pressure and quickly rub the inside of the rubber seal with some vegetable oil on a paper towel and it does. Old stainless steel pressure cookers were designed to be tough. But her Achilles heel was the rubber lid gasket and rubber relief valve plug. Luckily these were of high quality too and while mine was still fine the lid gasket started to crack and became stiff. Presto rushes to the rescue.
