Nut, washer and gasket not included.

Big problem, the new gauge comes without nut, washer and gasket. The old nut and washer will not fit. Too bad I didn't look at this sensor when it came to mind in January. The new sensor is on the right.

Pros
  • Gives a comfortable feeling
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Does not come with bottom nut

It was not an exact replacement but an overall fit. However, there is no nut in the kit and the previous one had a different thread. Come on. How much more does it cost to add a nut to it?

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Themes don't match!

Fits exactly but without a washer and as you can clearly see the old and new threads are different. So until I take a trip into town I can't use it. So make sure you either order one with a nut or be prepared to buy your own.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • A few small things

Presto have 3 different types of gauges

I looked at this gauge and read reviews here and elsewhere about the missing nut and gasket/washer. Read another review that the Presto uses 3 different types of gauges and must match the model number on the can (on the bottom of the can like I have 01/CA21H but there are many model numbers). So this gauge is probably intended for use on models where the gauge screws directly into a thread on the cap rather than being inserted into a hole which requires a gasket/washer and nut to secure.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Poor
