I like the way these colors look. I've only tried it over black gel polish but so far I'm very impressed. There were many complaints that there wasn't enough in each container, but you don't need much for a full hand. This product is amazing for the price! We applied the powder to both dark and light colors (unfortunately we don't have a photo of a light color). Each powder has a slightly different base color. The only thing they lack is that I wish they came with a color chart or color guide. Until you put them on, it's difficult to determine what color will come out.

***UPDATE*** I gave 4 stars on first use as I needed 2 coats on demo nails to get a decent chrome effect. When used on real nails, only 1 coat was required to achieve an INCREDIBLE chrome effect. It's so much fun! You will receive a box with all individual wells and they are all filled. A little messy to open due to the amount of product in the containers.
