My chinchillas love these platforms. They chew them, but even through regular chewing they haven't destroyed them, which is saying something. They are easy to attach and remove, making them easy to move and keep your cage new and interesting. Chinchillas love to jump recklessly around the cage and they keep up very well. I also didn't have any damage to the bars like other products.

These platforms are well made and hold up well but when I first ordered 2 one of the packs was torn and there weren't enough screws to hold them to attach to the cage. When I contacted the manufacturer for a replacement they were shipped quickly but when they arrived one of the packages was missing screws AGAIN. I used a replacement for one to attach the originals and they work well in my rat cage. The only other downside is that they get dirty very quickly, but that's really to be expected…

We got 6 years. an old chinchilla from a family member who couldn't keep him anymore and we were gifted a nice cage with plastic tabs. Chinchi (that's his name) gnaws on ledges and one breaks. I couldn't find a replacement online but this wooden platform looked good to me so I gave it a try. Despite chewing it on all sides, he's still holding onto it. Bought two of these platforms for a pigeon that can't fly. He uses these platforms to move vertically around his cage. They support his weight well and he has enough room to roll over and sit comfortably. I also recently caged one of these platforms with an African gray parrot with unrepaired broken legs. I am very disappointed. I bought this for my pet pigeon because I was having trouble finding a good perch.
