Adhesive tape is no good

The tape that you removed the small paper backing to reveal the tape is fully stuck to the tape. You cannot remove the paper cover without removing the tape from the block. I just had to glue the thing down. Yes, it works, but it's really stupid that such a simple thing is beyond the capabilities of this company.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great product for quickly repairing a hole in a wall!

This product covered the hole my 3 year old son tore in the wall by throwing a tantrum and yanking the door open as hard as he could. The wall element is easy to attach and has a very strong adhesive force. I highly recommend fixing the wall quickly, whether it accidentally rocks the chair too far back or your child throws a tantrum. Plus, the price makes it even better.

Good finish for doorstop

Used this to close the cut I had to make in the ceiling to hook up a ceiling fan. There isn't much glue on it so I'll have to see how well it holds, but for now it's there and seems to be holding up well. The adhesive parts are a bit difficult to remove without removing the entire adhesive part, you have to take a tiny cover without removing it. Took a while. But he definitely looks better than before.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

cheap easy repair of scratched walls

I bought this to cover a wall that has been damaged by a doorknob and to protect it from further abuse. I've read some reviews about bad gluing but figured since it's cheap it's worth a try, at worst I'd use glue :). I wiped the wall with alcohol, let it dry and applied a protector. It's been 4 months, no problems with sticking. Nothing special, but serves its purpose!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons

Functional but no tape

I think it's asking too much to have tape all the way around. Or better quality, micro-thin, easy to tear off when removing the substrate. I had to press it against the wall for several minutes to ensure adhesion. I had used the smaller 5" elsewhere and it was taped over and applied immediately and firmly (fit) but it would be 5 stars if there was tape everywhere AND they included a close up of what "textured" means I've only seen straight ones so far so wasn't sure what I was going to get.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Very weak and weak self-adhesive

This product is mainly made of round plastic with self-adhesive pads. It's those overlays that make it a product, otherwise it's just round plastic. I was very upset to learn that self-adhesive pads are the lowest quality I have seen in my life. First, it was very difficult to remove the film to reveal the adhesive pad. On one of the 5 pads, the adhesive film has come off along with the protective film because it is so thin that you cannot see where the tear is. Then the strength of the glue…

Pros
  • Very noticeable
Cons
  • boring packaging

I live in a townhouse that is having whole parts and everything remodeled inside and out. I was hoping to bring in some groceries but the door opened too quickly breaking the ones they had now and it looks like it blasted a hole in the wall although I'm not sure if there was already one behind it hole was the one we see now. Furnished. It's just the way it looked and all, and I don't doubt it with slum townhouses like that. The 7" is definitely a lot bigger than the standard 5". And it…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
