Love these: Backplates

We bought a house where the small handle on the folding pantry doors had a horrible brown stain all over it. So I bought a chrome handle and back plate from a hardware store. My husband liked the look so much he decided we should do this for all folding closet doors. Really makes a statement!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Something else

Hard to find product!

I love these backgrounds! I was renovating a 1960's apartment and wanted to keep the beautiful steel cabinet doors. However, they had large convex copper rods. The only way to replace the grips was to use a chrome backplate behind the crystal grips I was planning to use. Voila! Found her! Worth the price - saved me a lot of dollars!

Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Nice slipcovers, hard to find elsewhere

I was building a mid-century modern dresser and needed a slipcover to give the handles a larger look. I can't believe how hard it's gotten to find basic chrome trim for less than $7 each (thanks for the restoration hardware). They are not perfect as they are die cut so the edges may be a little rough in places. Also the finishes are a bit dull when they arrive. But a little buffing with Mothers Mag/Aluminium Polish and they shine pretty damn good. Overall they are pretty good and really make…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine
