PRO ART 18 Inch Flexible Curve Review

This was perfect for measuring my horse for a saddle. I also bought an 18" but it wasn't long enough to measure my hand gelding 16.1 with shark fins.

I have problems with my hands. As I draw, this allows me to create the shape I want and then trace the edges to create a clean, unbroken outline. Free shipping always seals the deal.

I use it for algebra class. This is a great way to teach transformation. You'll fit the curve to the shape of your chart, and then show the students what the transformation would look like by moving the curve.

I did not purchase this for its intended purpose. I plan to use it to create fluffy patterns when weaving fine yarns. It's strong enough to hold its shape as long as I gently press on the threads, so it should be amazing to draw curves.

It's good to know that there are good products out there for those of us who still draw with pens and pencils. When I switched from graphics to field biology, I never thought I would need a tool like this again. Of course I was wrong! So it's good to know that there are still bending curves. Best of all, this one is so much better than the ones I used fifteen years ago. In particular, it is more malleable and graded markings are useful.
