Horrid Breakouts from Promoted Cleanser

The deep cleansing wash promised to provide a refreshing and clean feeling, but my skin experienced otherwise. Beauty should not come with massive breakouts. As my tests showed, this product had the opposite effect, clogging my pores and causing acne. The only positive of this is that it smells good, which isn't worth the damaged skin.

It works! Cleanser

Like: I have been using this product for at least 10 years. Too bad I didn't start using it when I was a teenager with acne. I'm in my 60's now. My skin doesn't get as much sleep as it did then, but I still end up using it every day. It removes all traces of makeup and definitely gets rid of my blemishes. The only time I get a pimple or two is when I forget to use it after applying makeup! Then Proactive eliminates them in a few days. I have recommended it to many, many young people. Dislikes…

The packaging makes it useless

Although I've been very happy with Proactiv Deep Cleansing Wash in the past, 16 oz. Packaging renders this version of the product unusable. There is no applicator on the cap - just an open hole. It's too thick to pour. You can even turn it upside down with the lid off and it won't come out. Transferring to a smaller bottle with a top applicator is not possible. The $40 price was really painful and in the end it was a waste of money. Stay away from this 16 ounce pack. I see there is a 24 ounce…
